We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead a production area focused on safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement. This position oversees a high-performing team, ensures standard work is followed, and drives measurable results across productivity and OEE.
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed.
As the on-floor leader, you arrive early to review the plan, align resources, and confirm every work center is ready. You coach operators on safe practices, troubleshoot equipment issues, and jump in hands-on when needed to keep flow moving. You update the team board, track performance, and lead quick huddles to share status on OEE, schedule adherence, past-due work, and opportunities for improvement. Throughout the shift, you verify paperwork and data entries for accuracy, audit 5S, and coordinate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and logistics/scheduling to remove roadblocks.

Own safety, production, productivity, quality, and Lean/5S outcomes for the assigned area.

Ensure every team member is fully trained in job duties, standard work, equipment operation, troubleshooting, setup, and safety.

Serve as the production expert; step in where needed to maintain stable, efficient operations.

Champion company values and policies, including the employee handbook.

Generate and execute data-driven improvements to achieve a consistent 85%+ OEE.

Lead, coach, develop, and hold the team accountable; model expected behaviors.

Train and mentor on productivity, quality, and production tracking (paperwork and digital data).

Maintain the team board and use shop-floor production tracking tools.

Ensure the schedule is followed in each work center to meet daily and shift goals.

Run team meetings to communicate goals, OEE, past-due items, plant updates, and improvement opportunities.

Collect and verify all paperwork and data for completeness and accuracy prior to submission to your supervisor.

Maintain compliance with all safety requirements for people and equipment.

Audit your team and area regularly; uphold housekeeping and 5S standards.

Contribute to product launches and other strategic initiatives.

Participate in High Performance Work Teams and required meetings.

High school diploma or GED

At least 2 years of hands-on production/manufacturing experience
