Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver, PCA, HHA, or CNA to assist a male client with personal care, bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and other activities of daily living.
Due to the client's privacy and personal care preferences, experience providing personal care to male clients is preferred.
This position offers the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship while helping a client maintain independence and quality of life in the comfort of his home.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Provide medication reminders
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands when needed
- Follow each client's individualized care plan
- Communicate effectively with office staff regarding scheduling and client updates
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the client
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, CNA, DSP, Homemaker, or Companion Caregiver is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Dependable, punctual, and compassionate
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Successfully pass a background check (screening provided)
- Weekend and evening availability is a plus
- CPR certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- TB screening required upon hire
