As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the Neuro ICU, you’ll be an essential part of the clinical team, working side-by-side with nurses and contributing directly to the care of critically ill neuroscience and medical patients.
This is a unique opportunity to build advanced clinical skills while supporting some of the most complex and rewarding patient care in the hospital.
In this role, you will:
- Provide hands-on bedside care including bathing, oral hygiene, toileting, linen changes, and overall patient comfort
- Assist with mobility, repositioning, and safe patient transfers in a critical care setting
- Monitor, obtain, and accurately record vital signs to support clinical decision-making
- Document important patient information clearly and consistently in medical records
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, including meaningful support for patients and families during end-of-life situations

The Neuro ICU is a 19-bed intensive care unit specializing in neuroscience and medical critical care. You will care for patients with complex conditions such as stroke, cranial surgery recovery, neuro-endovascular procedures, and other acute neurological and medical illnesses requiring intensive monitoring and support.
As part of a designated Primary Stroke Center, the unit is recognized for delivering rapid, high-quality stroke care and advanced neurocritical treatment. This is a highly collaborative environment where nursing staff demonstrate advanced clinical judgment, critical thinking, and expertise every day.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – Healthcare Provider certification required within 6 months of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
