Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients, including vital signs and developmental evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions, utilizing advanced clinical skills and evidence-based practices.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses, including emergency cases requiring triage, airway management, ventilator support, and critical care interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases involving neonatal ventilators, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or Level I & II trauma center protocols.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, dermal fillers, spinal taps, phlebotomy, and IV infusions with precision and aseptic technique.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation, data collection, and medical coding (ICD-9/10).
- Engage in clinical research or participate in clinical trials to advance pediatric care standards and contribute to evidence-based medicine.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with active certification as a Pediatrician.
- State medical license with board certification or eligibility in pediatrics.
- Extensive hospital experience including inpatient care, outpatient clinics, or emergency medicine settings.
- Critical care experience such as ICU or PICU is highly desirable; Level I & II trauma center experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in EMR systems like Epic or Cerner; familiarity with telehealth platforms is advantageous.
- Strong skills in airway management, acute pain management, dialysis procedures, and infection control practices.
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and radiology reports relevant to pediatric diagnostics.
- Experience with neonatal ventilators, neonatal intensive care protocols, and neonatal resuscitation (NRP).
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical examinations and vital signs measurement.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education, family planning discussions, discharge planning, and health coaching.
