We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual to support the Production Department of Morrison Cup Solutions. This role is a full-time position with excellent benefits. The schedule is rotating (Week 1: Monday - Wednesday 4am -4pm 36 hours total) (Week 2: Monday - Thursday 4am -4pm 48 hours total) Occasional overtime. NO weekends.
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Understand and accurately complete digital work orders using iPads and related systems

Operate and run all assigned machines at designated production speeds

Lead and direct operators while promoting teamwork and efficiency

Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions

Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels for all materials required to operate machines
-
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including 10-hour shifts
-
Maintain strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and safety

Communicate effectively and collaborate with management, maintenance personnel, and fellow operators to support production goals

Assist with packing product as needed
-
Adjust machine settings (HMI and machine adjustments) to ensure products remain within specifications
-
Assist with and monitor the pre-expansion process as needed
-
Move pallets using pallet jacks
-
Load boxes into case packers
-
Monitor scrap levels and report issues as needed

Assist with covering operator breaks and lunches
The Machine Specialist must possess the following qualities:

Have an understanding of manufacturing/machine operations
-
Dependable (must be at work on time)

Must be mechanically inclined

Must have basic knowledge of general tools and their uses

Excellent communication skills

Able to do simple math

Pallet jack and forklift experience a plus
