We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to ensure the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating and cooling systems. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in HVAC systems, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools to deliver exceptional service and maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems to ensure peak performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in air conditioning and heating systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Install HVAC systems and components according to specifications and industry standards.
- Utilize hand tools and testing equipment to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with the scheduling team to manage workload and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service through clear communication, thorough evaluations, and respectful interactions.
- Adhere to company procedures and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in HVAC equipment maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and Universal EPA certification.
- KY Journeyman’s License.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Experience with PCs, tablets, and smart phones for documentation and communication.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make informed decisions.
- Willingness to engage in continuous personal and professional development.
