Duties
- Assist in supervising and caring for infants and toddlers across various classrooms to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Support teachers with daily activities such as diapering, feeding, nap time, and age-appropriate play.
- Engage children in stimulating activities that promote social-emotional development, motor skills, and early learning concepts.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment following health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to implement curriculum plans aligned with childhood development principles.
- Observe and document children's progress to support individualized learning and developmental goals.
- Be adaptable to cover different classrooms as needed, providing consistent care regardless of location or schedule changes.
Skills
- Knowledge of early childhood education best practices and childhood development milestones.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare or preschool settings.
- Strong understanding of classroom management techniques tailored to young children.
- Ability to implement behavior management strategies that foster positive social interactions.
- First aid certification and knowledge of emergency procedures for young children.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families.
