Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service and able to delivery of medication locally when needed
Responsibilities
- Prepare medications by counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, and mixing pharmaceuticals
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs
- Need to have skill typing prescription,bill insurance,communicate to patient for any insurance issue
-Acess medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers in english and may be in spanish optional not required
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
Requirements
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Experience in retail pharmacy is better not require,knowledge of insurance billing, prior authorization,and all other expect of retail pharmacy
- have strong customer service attitude,help pharmacist filling prescription,maintain inventory,all technician duties
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Delivey of medication to patients locally when needed not daily
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
