Job Summary
Foothill Pet Hospital is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Veterinary Practice Manager to lead our veterinary clinic operations with enthusiasm and precision. We are an integrative practice that blends Eastern (acupuncture, laser, Ozone, herbs & homeopathics) and standard Western Veterinary modalities. Our clinic is a small (non corporate) environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily clinic functions, manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster an exceptional patient and client experience. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, financial health, and team cohesion, creating a positive environment where both staff and animals thrive. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about healthcare management and animal care to make a meaningful impact.
Our office is open MONDAY - FRIDAY 9am to 5pm. These are the hours you would be required to work. We are not open on the weekends, so you would not be required to work.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall management of the veterinary practice, including daily office operations, staff supervision, and client relations.
- Supervise clinic staff including administrative support, and veterinary technicians while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Coordinate clinic workflows for acute care and critical care cases to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Implement healthcare practice management strategies that enhance patient care quality while maintaining regulatory adherence.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring positive client interactions and addressing concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in Veterinary office management within a practice setting with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of CORNERSTONE patient management software.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Experience in managing clinic staff including reception, veterinary technicians and Doctors in a clinical setting; daily
- Knowledge of Veterinary medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health records systems to ensure accurate documentation.
