Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance team members
- Maintain and update records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Fabricate parts as needed using various tools and equipment
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations
- Welding and metal fabrication as required
- Perform general facilities maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance
- Proficiency in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment
- Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to perform electrical repairs and installations
- Welding experience preferred but not required
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Person who can effectively maintain machinery, troubleshoot issues, and perform general facilities maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, the ability to read schematics, and experience with programmable logic controllers. Leadership skills are also important as this role will involve providing guidance to other maintenance team members. Additionally, proficiency in using a CMMS is required for record keeping purposes. The ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment is necessary, as is knowledge of electrical systems for repairs and installations. Welding experience is preferred but not required.
