ATCO – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – FORT WORTH, TX
POSITION SUMMARY
ATCO Rubber Products Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Accountant with strong attention to detail and strong organization skills. As the Senior Accountant, you will prepare financial forms and statements, perform general ledger accounting, prepare journal entries, conduct analyses, and assist with annual budgeting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain and update accounting records
- Prepare journal entries and general ledger transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Perform month-end, and year-end close duties
- Assist Accounts Receivable in credit approvals
- Review and approve invoices prior to payment
- Prepare documents for audit
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- File Sales & Use Tax Returns
- File Annual State reports
- Manage Fixed Asset Register
- Assist in the annual plan process
- Maintain organization of filing
- Assist with Physical Inventory
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis, as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with Advanced Excel skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Month-End Close experience required
- Experience with QAD and Cyberquery preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required
- Three + years of Accounting experience required
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY
Accounting Staff, including Accounts Payable Clerks, Accounts Receivable Specialist, and Accounting Clerk, report to Senior Accountant.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week in person, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Range $ 65,000 - $ 70,000 Annually
