Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and hygienic
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels to maintain guest comfort
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall cleanliness of all surfaces
- Handle janitorial tasks efficiently by disposing of trash, cleaning windows, dusting furniture, and ensuring public spaces are inviting
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning activities and use cleaning equipment responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment for easy access and safety compliance
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques specific to hospitality environments, including industrial cleaning practices
- Knowledge of floor care methods such as carpet shampooing and hard surface polishing
- Experience in janitorial or custodial work within commercial or industrial settings is advantageous
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles is a plus
- Prior housekeeping management experience can be beneficial but is not required
