About the Opportunity
We are building our private events program and seeking a results-oriented leader to drive sales and oversee event execution. This position will play a key role in growing corporate and wedding business while ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Position Summary
The Events Manager will be responsible for developing the winery’s event business from concept through execution. This includes providing input on event offerings, pricing structures and sales systems. The person in this position is expected to cultivate partnerships, and personally drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate combines hospitality leadership, business development expertise, and operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue corporate and wedding market opportunities
- Build relationships with event planners, executive assistants, HR leaders, and local business networks
- Conduct site tours and close contracts
- Develop referral pipelines and strategic partnerships
Event Execution & Operations
- Oversee planning and execution of all booked events
- Serve as primary client contact
- Manage timelines, logistics, vendor coordination, and staffing
- Ensure exceptional guest experience and operational excellence
- Lead event-day operations and resolve issues in real time
Qualifications
- 5+ years in event sales, hospitality leadership, venue management, or related field
- Demonstrated success building or scaling event revenue programs
- Strong sales track record with measurable results
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
- Experience with TripleSeat or Perfect Venue preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Professional presence with strong negotiation and communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
- Must be at least 21 years of age
