Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Care Coordinator to lead and coordinate resident care services within our assisted living, memory care, or senior living community. In this vital role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans are implemented effectively while fostering a warm, supportive environment. Your leadership will help promote resident well-being, safety, and dignity through exceptional management of care operations and team supervision. Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care strategies.
- Supervise caregiving staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure high-quality resident care.
- Coordinate with nursing staff to administer medications safely and accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Monitor daily operations within the community or group home setting, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, social workers, and external agencies to support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Manage budgets related to resident services and operational needs while maintaining financial acumen.
- Lead efforts in quality assurance by conducting regular assessments of care quality and implementing improvements as needed.
- Oversee documentation related to resident progress, incident reports, medication administration records, and care plans.
- Provide leadership in managing long-term care programs, including transitioning residents between levels of care when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or senior care environments with a strong background in memory or dementia care.
- Prior supervisory or management experience overseeing caregiving teams or group home staff.
- Knowledge of home & community care practices along with familiarity with operations management within senior or retirement communities.
- Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and healthcare regulations related to long-term care.
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with residents’ families, healthcare providers, and team members.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and operational excellence.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
