Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dependable Maintenance Staff / Sanitation team member to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our facilities and outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, landscaping, and sanitation tasks that keep our environment inviting, functional, and well-maintained. Your efforts will directly contribute to a positive experience for staff and visitors alike, creating a safe and attractive environment for all.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the store, including restrooms, kitchens, prep areas, and common spaces
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, pressure washing, and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist with unloading delivery trucks and organizing incoming inventory and supplies
- Help maintain outdoor areas including mowing, weed trimming, trash pickup, and general landscaping upkeep
- Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively
- Respond quickly to spills, safety hazards, and maintenance issues to keep the store safe and presentable
- Perform other general labor and facility support duties as assigned
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor repairs and operate maintenance equipment effectively
- Experience with lawn care, landscape, and maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and operating machinery in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols during all maintenance activities
