Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and high-voltage electrical components.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other analysis tools.
- Repair or replace faulty parts such as motors, belts, pumps, valves, and welding components with expertise in <LOCATION> welding techniques.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and ensure seamless production flow.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Conduct field service operations including installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery.
- Assist with technical sales support by providing expert advice on equipment repairs and upgrades to customers or internal teams.
- Follow safety protocols related to low voltage and high voltage electrical work, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Read and interpret mechanical schematics and electrical diagrams to facilitate repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Support the training of team members on maintenance procedures and safety practices related to industrial mechanics.
Experience
- Proven experience working as an industrial mechanic within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical troubleshooting including low voltage applications.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks involving schematics, analysis skills, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and documentation.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in automation settings.
- Background in industrial maintenance with a focus on analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues efficiently.
- Previous field service experience supporting manufacturing operations or customer service roles involving technical support.
