Caché – The House of Dresses | Tampa, FL
Caché – The House of Dresses is looking for an experienced, trustworthy and capable Boutique Sales Lead / Assistant Store Manager who can deliver excellent customer service, drive sales and confidently oversee the boutique when the owner is not present.
This is not an entry-level retail position. We are looking for someone with strong sales experience who is comfortable taking responsibility, making decisions and keeping the store running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Provide personalized styling and help customers find the right dress for their event
- Guide customers through the entire sales process, from fitting room to purchase
- Build relationships with customers and confidently close sales
- Manage appointments and walk-in customers
- Oversee the sales floor and fitting rooms
- Handle POS transactions, payments, exchanges and store procedures
- Answer phone calls, messages and customer questions
- Maintain merchandising and presentation standards
- Assist with inventory, incoming merchandise and special orders
- Resolve customer concerns professionally
- Open and close the boutique when scheduled
- Take responsibility for daily store operations when the owner is away
Who We're Looking For
- 2+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in women's fashion, bridal, formalwear, luxury retail or another service-focused environment
- Previous key-holder, supervisor, lead or management experience
- Strong sales skills and the ability to confidently close a sale without being pushy
- Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions
- Organized, accountable and willing to take ownership of responsibilities
- Professional, personable and comfortable working one-on-one with customers
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with computers, POS systems and basic technology
- Able to be trusted with store opening, closing and day-to-day operations
- Available to work Saturdays and during our busiest seasonal periods

Caché – The House of Dresses is a Tampa formalwear boutique specializing in dresses for Prom, Homecoming, Mother of the Bride & Groom, galas, weddings and special events.
Our customers are often shopping for an important occasion, so great service here goes beyond simply showing dresses. We want someone who can listen to the customer, understand what she's looking for, help her choose confidently and create an experience that leads naturally to a sale.
