Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care procedures to preserve their appearance and safety.
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and cleaning equipment to ensure hygienic environments.
- Manage residential housekeeping tasks with precision, including outdoor work when necessary to maintain overall property appearance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout each visit.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury while maintaining high productivity standards.
- Ensure all cleaning surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected according to established protocols.
- Operate janitorial and custodial equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain organized records of cleaning schedules, supplies inventory, and sanitation procedures for accountability and quality assurance.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments is highly desirable; hotel or custodial experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in cleaning techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor care, dusting, and surface sanitation.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Experience with outdoor work related to property maintenance is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Proven capability in manual handling of heavy items safely while maintaining efficiency.
- Excellent client communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude focused on delivering outstanding customer service.
