Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend preventative maintenance
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Vocational or technical training is a plus
- Proven experience as a Mechanic with a strong understanding of automotive systems
- Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) preferred
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience working with hybrid or electric vehicles
- Welding or fabrication skills
