Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Duties
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective electrical components, including controllers, switchboards, switches, conductors, and other electrical fixtures.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical components on machinery and equipment, including transformers, generators, exciters, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on field electrical systems, devices, equipment, and components.
- Test solid-state circuitry to identify defective components in digital and analog equipment, including cell proximity circuits, frequency controls, and 4–20 mA control circuits.
- Install enhancements and major upgrades to electrical subsystems.
- Design and modify motor power-control equipment circuits.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, sketches, and technical drawings.
- Plan and perform work orders and assigned projects according to specifications and instructions.
- Coordinate schedules and activities with other divisions and departments.
- Ensure preventive maintenance duties are completed accurately, thoroughly, and on schedule.
- Identify and resolve unique or complex electrical and equipment problems.
- Help improve parts management by balancing availability, cost, and inventory levels.
- Promote safe, efficient, and professional work practices throughout all job activities.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting principles.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and drawings.
- Experience with electrical machinery, controls, and industrial equipment preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate preventive maintenance.
- Ability to work effectively with other departments and team members.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
