Dental Assistant (Experienced Clinical Role)

Greater Richmond Dentistry is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our modern, technology-driven practice. We are a fully digital office with structured workflows, advanced imaging systems, and a supportive team environment focused on exceptional patient care.
Compensation
$22–$29 per hour, based on experience, credentials, and clinical skills.Virginia Board of Dentistry Registered Dental Assistants II (DA II) with expanded functions and demonstrated proficiency may qualify for the higher end of the pay range.

Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during dental procedures
- Take digital radiographs in accordance with Virginia regulations
- Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
- Maintain OSHA-compliant infection control and sterilization standards
- Support smooth patient flow and clinical efficiency
- Complete accurate clinical documentation
- Provide professional, compassionate patient care and communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of dental assisting experience required
- Strong chairside assisting skills
- Experience with digital radiography
- Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, ADA, and Virginia Board of Dentistry standards
- Organized, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Dentrix Ascend experience preferred
- Virginia DA II registration preferred for higher compensation consideration
