Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt service
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions and food orders efficiently
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and giving correct change
- Support food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food handling and operating kitchen equipment safely
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Manage customer inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall satisfaction with service
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food handling, and operating kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple customer orders efficiently during busy periods
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that encourages repeat business
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales totals
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food industry procedures
