An established design-build firm in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to help grow its presence in the commercial market and expand client relationships throughout the region.
This is an opportunity for a relationship-driven professional who enjoys developing new business, building strategic partnerships, and working closely with company leadership to support continued growth. The successful candidate will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future direction of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, commercial real estate professionals, owner's representatives, and other industry partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout the Greater Philadelphia market.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities through networking, referrals, industry relationships, and proactive business development efforts.
- Represent the company at industry events, association meetings, and networking functions.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on business development strategy, market opportunities, and growth initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, relationships, and business development activity.
- Stay informed on market trends, upcoming projects, and competitive activity.
- Help position the company for relationship-based and negotiated opportunities.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of business development, client development, or strategic relationship management experience within construction, architecture, engineering, commercial real estate, or related industries.
- Established professional network within the Greater Philadelphia market.
- Proven ability to develop new client relationships and generate business opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with consistent follow-through.
