CNC Machinist
Position Details: Located in Kalispell, MT, this role operates on a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with compensation ranging from $20 to $30 per hour based on your experience.
Role Summary: We are looking for a meticulous CNC Machinist to contribute to our production team. You will be responsible for executing setups with precision using various holding techniques, such as soft jaws, hard jaws, and angle plates, all while upholding our commitment to high-quality output and operational efficiency.
Core Duties:

Execute machine setups utilizing diverse clamping strategies like angle plates, soft jaws, and hard jaws.

Optimize production outcomes by utilizing superior machining techniques to improve finishes and reduce cycle times.

Adjust feed and speed parameters to align with specific project needs.

Manage setup efficiency by meeting target times, with standard setups typically requiring 15 to 40 minutes.

Operate manual lathe and mill equipment as required.

Analyze technical drawings, job travelers, and blueprints to ensure accurate production.

Utilize precision inspection tools, including height gages, calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gages to verify parts.

Support the team in meeting strict production schedules while maintaining rigorous quality standards.
Required Skills and Experience:

Demonstrated expertise in operating manual lathes and milling machines.

Comprehensive knowledge regarding machining setups and tolerance requirements.

Ability to interpret complex technical prints and engineering drawings.

Proficiency in utilizing various inspection tools to ensure component accuracy.

Competency in basic mathematics, specifically the ability to convert between decimals and fractions.
