Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Food Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment to ensure smooth production operations during the overnight shift. Your expertise will help uphold our standards of quality and safety while supporting continuous manufacturing excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on manufacturing equipment using schematics, electrical blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components utilizing precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Diagnose issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrical systems, HVAC/R units, and other automation equipment to minimize downtime.
- Conduct repairs involving welding ( welding techniques), electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and replacement of faulty parts.
- Operate field service tools including scissor lifts and high-voltage testing devices to access hard-to-reach areas safely.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing facility maintenance or industrial mechanic roles.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and blueprint reading.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatic troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and electrical blueprints accurately.
- Skilled in welding ( welding preferred), low voltage/high voltage electrical work, and use of precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Valid certifications in industrial electrician work or related fields are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
