Food Service Director

Responsibilities:
Oversee all food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery
Manage a team of food service staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional service
Maintain a safe and clean food service environment, adhering to all regulatory standards and company policies
Coordinate with other departments, such as dietary, nursing, and activities, to ensure seamless resident care
Develop and implement effective meal service processes and procedures to meet resident needs and preferences
Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food quality, presentation, and service meet company standards
Analyze food inventory and supplies, making recommendations for cost-effective solutions
Collaborate with the executive chef to develop menus that cater to resident dietary requirements and preferences
Requirements:
Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
