Job Summary
NEW FACILITY starting sometime in June 2026. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support for adults with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting. Maximum 6 bed facility. Unless NOC shift, each staff will have no more than three residents to be responsible for direct care. All staffs must still be alert and aware of all resident's safety and well-being.
Available Shifts:
- WEEKEND SHIFT: Sat & Sun [AM 7am-3pm, PM 3pm-11pm, or NOC 11pm-7am]
- There is a 30 minute break for each shift (break time is not paid).
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications and vital signs monitoring
- Assist residents during meal preparation and feeding.
- Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers to ensure safety during movement.
- Implement behavior management strategies.
- Document resident progress, health status, and incidents.
- Maintain cleanliness of the living environment through routine cleaning tasks.
Qualifications
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required (approx. $15-20 online).
- Background check is required (Live scan fingerprinting is approx. $60-75).
- Physical and TB test is required (Will give form for your Dr. to fill out).
- Fees are to be paid by the employee.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
