Responsibilities
- Sand cabinet doors, drawer fronts, face frames, and cabinet components.
- Prepare wood surfaces for paint, stain, and other finishes.
- Inspect materials for dents, scratches, glue residue, or imperfections.
- Use hand sanders and pneumatic sanding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain quality standards throughout the sanding process.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Work closely with the finishing department to ensure products are production-ready.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Strong Attention to detail,
- Ability to perform repetitive task while maintaining quality.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working with power tools including orbiting sander.
- Knowledge in different types of wood species is a plus, but no required.
