Parkour/Ninja Instructor - Kids & Youth Programs

Part-Time | W-2 Hourly Position | $25/hour
We’re looking for a Parkour Instructor who is great with kids first and great at parkour second.
Parkour experience and technical ability absolutely matter but at The Studios Brookhaven, the student experience is paramount.
We want an instructor who can walk into a class of energetic kids ages 5+ and create an environment that is fun, positive, confidence-building, safe, and engaging. Someone who knows how to connect with kids, keep a class moving, redirect behavior when necessary, and make every student feel successful, even when they’re still learning the basics.
Our current Parkour Instructor is relocating in mid-September, which will leave six days of weekly Parkour programming available for coverage. We are open to finding one instructor who wants a substantial schedule or potentially dividing the schedule among multiple great instructors.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children is a must
- Parkour, gymnastics, tumbling, ninja, freerunning, or related movement experience
- An upbeat, encouraging teaching style
- Strong classroom management and the ability to redirect students positively
- The ability to keep kids engaged while maintaining structure and safety
- A genuine desire to help students build confidence, not just skills
- Excellent punctuality and reliability
- Professional communication with students, parents, and fellow staff
- Ability to create an environment kids are excited to come back to each week
Most of our Parkour students are ages 5 and up. We also offer a Lil Ninjas class for ages 3–4, so experience with preschool-aged children is a plus if that interests you!
Pay: $25/Hour
This is a W-2 hourly position paying $25 per hour, not an independent contractor position.
You are paid hourly for the time you are scheduled to be at the studio/gym and not simply for the number of classes you teach. That means if you are scheduled to be onsite between classes, you are still on the clock and being paid for your time. Taxes are withheld through payroll.
The Instructor We're Hoping to Find:
You don't need to be the most advanced parkour athlete in Atlanta.
We would much rather have an instructor with solid parkour fundamentals who is exceptional with kids than an incredible athlete who struggles to connect with or manage a class.

"I did something I didn't think I could do—and I can't wait to come back."
