Welcome to Valora.
At Valora, we don't just provide care; we build paths. We are seeking a BCBA to join our Forest Park team who will be focused on providing care to our school age & transition population. This is a role designed for the clinician who loves the school-age population and is ready to help us shape the future of our after-school, transition and Saturday programs.
The Schedule & Lifestyle
- Monday–Friday, 11:00 am – 7:30 pm (School Year). Enjoy your mornings for yourself!
- One Work from Home morning block per week (11 am–4 pm).
- Help shape Saturday social groups, balanced with a mid-week flex block (11 am – 4 pm) to protect your time.
- Start with a daytime schedule to bond with your team and caseload while you collaboratively design the school-year program, shifting to the later start in August.
Program Stewardship
As the primary leader on-site from 4:30 pm to close, you are the face of Valora. We are looking for a trustworthy, composed leader who can:
- Maintain high standards of clinical safety and operational oversight after the daytime team departs, ensuring a secure environment for all.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families during evening pick-up, facilitating clear communication and clinical alignment.
- Report to the Clinical Director while serving as the primary clinical presence on-site, responsible for the evening program’s flow and integrity.
Clinical Scope
- A thoughtful caseload mix of half-day transition clients and after-school learners.
- Go beyond early intervention. Use EFL, AFLS, Socially Savvy, and other assessments to build independence and executive functioning.
- Attend IEP meetings and conduct school observations to ensure clinical consistency across environments.
Requirements
- Current BCBA certification and Illinois LBA (Required).
- Experience with the 5–12 year old population and complex social/behavioral needs.
- Exceptional communication skills and a Program Stewardship mindset. Reliable, proactive, and calm under pressure while leading clinical operations independently.
- The ability to lead with the Valor of Vulnerability providing mentorship that empowers RBTs and graduate students to grow.
- 2–4 years experience preferred, but we value clinical maturity and a human-first mindset above all else.
- Bilingual fluency (Spanish/English) is highly valued.
Why Join Us?
- A sustainable, 28 hour weekly billable target.
- Help design and develop our Social Skills Lab, a dedicated space for school-aged clients to build social independence and celebrate their own unique valor.
- Direct collaboration with our Clinical Director to shape and evolve a growing program in Forest Park.
