Duties
- Prepare a variety of Donuts, savory Kolaches with attention to detail and consistency
- Decorate Donuts and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning products
- Package food items securely for retail display or catering events, maintaining freshness and presentation standards
- Assist in food production and food handling processes following strict safety and hygiene protocols
- Support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts, with a strong portfolio of decorated cakes or desserts preferred
- Hands-on experience in food preparation within a restaurant, catering, or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and kitchen sanitation procedures
- Skilled in knife techniques, cooking methods, and culinary arts with a focus on quality presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Prior experience in food production, catering, or restaurant environments is highly desirable
