Job Overview
SineWave Services is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on industrial and commercial job sites. This position requires travel throughout the Permian Basin and surrounding areas and offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute projects accurately.
- Install conduit, cable tray, wire, switchgear, VFDs, and lighting systems
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems effectively
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations safely on construction sites
- Maintain compliance with electrical safety procedures, including proper handling of high-voltage systems and adherence to NFPA 70 guidelines.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within scope.
Skills
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrical License (required)
- OSHA 10 Construction Certification (preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience working as an industrial or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures.
- Ability to diagnose electrical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Experience with high-voltage wiring, low-voltage systems, and high-voltage safety protocols.
- Familiarity with electrical systems maintenance in various environments including commercial buildings or industrial facilities.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Willingness to travel throughout the Permian Basin and surrounding areas and work overtime and occasional weekends
