Ohio Orthopedic Network, LLC, is seeking to hire a Per Diem X-Ray Technologist to help ensure that our patients are getting the care and treatments they need. The ideal candidate will be supporting the radiology and pain procedural needs of our clinic by producing high quality medical images that will best assist the providers. This X-ray Technologist position comes with a competitive wage based on years of experience.
X-Ray Technician Duties
- Prepare patients for radiology procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Operate radiology equipment to capture images of patients’ bones, tissues, and organs as requested by physicians.
- Ensure the quality and clarity of radiology images for accurate diagnosis.
- Adhere to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Maintain and calibrate radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate patient and imaging records withing the EMR system
- Assist with administrative support to the provider
- Manage patient records and ensure they are up-to-date and accurately filed.
Qualifications:
- Certified Radiology Technician with a valid license to practice in Ohio
- Active BLS certification
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with experience in a medical office environment.
- Proficient in using radiology equipment and familiar with radiographic techniques.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in medical office software and Microsoft Office Suite.
