Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Cook/ Dishwasher, where you will assist our Head Cook. Whether that be helping her prep lunch or doing breakfast/lunch dishes. This position is 10 AM-2PM Monday-Friday starting pay at $10.
Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients.
- Support the Head Cook in meal preparation ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sanitizing workstations, counters, and food contact surfaces regularly
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards
- Ability to work 7-3 if Head Cook is out
