Position Summary
We’re looking for dedicated, detail-oriented overnight Kennel Technicians to join our pack! The hours will be 10pm to 6.30am 3-4 nights a week.
In this role, you’ll lead by example, ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of the dogs in our care while supporting and mentoring kennel staff. You’ll work hands-on with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and keep our facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Provide evening care for dogs in boarding
- Monitor dog behavior, health, and wellbeing, and promptly report concerns
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary kennel and play areas
- Support playgroup management, ensuring safe and positive interactions
- Maintain accurate records of feeding, medication, and behavior
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in a kennel, daycare, veterinary, or animal shelter setting
- Strong understanding of canine behavior, health, and handling techniques
- Ability to work confidently with dogs of all breeds and temperaments
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Comfortable with physically demanding work
- Flexible schedule - weekends and holidays required
