Duties
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cuts, trims, styling, coloring, and hair extensions with precision and flair
- Utilize salon software such as vagaro to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
- Apply color theory principles to create vibrant or subtle color treatments tailored to each client’s preferences
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools and workstations regularly in compliance with health regulations
- Engage clients through excellent communication skills, understanding their needs, offering styling advice, and upselling retail products like hair care
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and cutting techniques
- Familiarity with salon management software such as Vagaro for scheduling and retail transactions
- Strong understanding of color theory and styling techniques
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships
- Experience in retail sales, upselling products, and store management is desirable
- Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols in all aspects of work
- Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute positively to a team environment
