As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a highly organized and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee residential construction projects from start to finish. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating people, solving problems, communicating with clients, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
- Develop project schedules to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify project specifications and compliance with design requirements.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is performed according to industry standards.
- Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), daily reports, and progress updates.
- Conduct regular site inspections to track progress and resolve issues promptly.
- Facilitate effective project coordination through clear communication of schedules, expectations, and deliverables to all stakeholders.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively to minimize delays or cost overruns.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction project management
- Extensive site experience in construction environments with a solid understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Proficiency in project scheduling including coordination of suppliers and subcontractors
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management within the construction industry.
- Hands-on experience with construction management software for project tracking and reporting purposes.
- Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement procedures, and subcontractor coordination practices.
