Duties
- Diagnose appliance issues using technical schematics, mechanical knowledge, and electrical experience to identify root causes efficiently.
- Perform repairs on appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Utilize tools and equipment repair techniques to restore appliance functionality swiftly and accurately.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair procedures.
- Conduct appliance assembly, installation, and testing at customer locations or in the field.
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and customer interactions for accurate documentation.
- Operate box trucks or delivery vehicles safely to transport parts or appliances between locations as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and answering any questions professionally.
Skills
- Proven experience in appliance repair with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams with confidence.
- Solid mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and HVAC systems.
- Previous experience as a service technician or in field service roles is highly desirable.
- Customer service skills that foster trust and satisfaction during on-site visits.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment is a plus.
- Delivery driver experience with safe driving practices using box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Basic assembly skills for installing new appliances or equipment setups.
- Knowledge of electrical systems relevant to appliance operation and repair.

Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
