Are you a master of customer service with a passion for the automotive industry? Join Bale Automotive as a Service Advisor, where you will serve as the "face of the dealership" and the vital bridge between our customers and our service technicians.
Role Overview: In this essential role, you will ensure a smooth customer experience by providing high-quality service while helping guests solve their vehicle issues. You will be responsible for translating customer descriptions of mechanical problems into detailed repair orders (RO) using Xtime software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every transaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and act as their primary point of contact throughout the service process.
- Service Advising: Advise customers on required maintenance and manufacturer specifications, provide clear estimates for labor and parts, and explain time commitments.
- Workflow Management: Coordinate with technicians to monitor repair progress, keeping customers updated on delays and ensuring vehicles are ready as promised.
- Quality & Compliance: Perform quality control inspections before delivery, verify warranty and service contract coverage, and maintain meticulous documentation.
- Results-Driven: Help the shop reach 100%+ capacity daily while maintaining high CSI ratings comparable to manufacturer standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least two years in a dealership service position; sales experience is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge: A sound general knowledge of mechanical operations and automotive systems.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional listening skills, approachability, and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Communication: Ability to write clear correspondence and effectively present technical information to one-on-one or small groups.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License with a maintainable good driving record.
- Ability to meet physical demands, including standing/walking for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance in company-prescribed attire.
