Seeking an experienced Middle School Math Teacher to teach Grades 6–8 in a small boys' school with a warm, supportive learning environment.
Our students are motivated and capable, and with strong instruction, most Grade 8 students take the Algebra I Regents, consistently earning high scores, including some 99–100% results.
Responsibilities include:
Teaching middle school math, Grades 6-8, including Algebra I in 8th grade
Maintaining strong classroom management and a positive learning culture
Differentiating instruction to support diverse learners
Collaborating with colleagues and communicating with families
Qualifications:
Experience teaching middle school math with a master's degree or in a master's program
Strong classroom management skills
Deep math content knowledge and clear instructional practice
Ability to build respectful relationships with students
Potential to supervise lower school teachers and conduct math staff sessions
