Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to service standards and quality control.
- Lead and motivate staff by providing training, coaching, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing team.
- Manage shift schedules, assign tasks, and supervise food preparation, cooking, and food handling activities to maintain efficiency.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an outstanding guest experience at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and assist with ordering supplies using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant.
- Support management in budgeting, cash handling, and administrative tasks to optimize operational performance.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising staff, conducting training & development sessions, and managing teams effectively.
- Proficiency in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; capable of handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and food industry regulations.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle complaints diplomatically and professionally.
- Ability to manage shift schedules, oversee food production processes, and coordinate catering or banquet services when needed.
