### About the Role
We are seeking skilled and passionate barbers to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth, with the potential to earn **above six figures annually** through commissions and tips.
### Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and grooming.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques.
- Ensure the barbershop is clean and well-maintained.
- Collaborate with the team to create a positive and engaging atmosphere.
- Demonstrate skills by bringing in a test client with straight hair to perform a **medium skin fade with a comb-over/textured crop top.**
### Qualifications
- Valid barber license in DC, held for **5+ years**.
- Proven experience in a barbershop setting with **expertise in cutting all textures of hair, particularly shear and razor work**.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation, ability to get to and from the barbershop in a timely manner.
- Availability on **Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday** at a minimum.
- **Three references** required.
- Having your own book of clients is **not a requirement, but would be very beneficial**.
