Job Overview:
Our client is in need of a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist who specializes in 5-Axis machining. This individual will be tasked with the setup, operation, and adjustment of CNC machines to produce precision parts independently and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and utilize CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-Axis) based on provided blueprints.
Troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes, making necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
Choose appropriate tools and adjust feeds and speeds to meet production standards.
Inspect machined components using precision tools to uphold quality requirements.
Work independently, maintaining high productivity levels with minimal supervision.
Handle weights up to 70 lbs. as required.
Keep work area tidy and well-organized, including tools and machinery.
Monitor tool inventory and reorder as needed.
