Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive service to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about merchandise and highlighting features to encourage sales
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible
- Conduct regular inventory checks, assist with stock replenishment, and support store merchandising initiatives
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Bilingual skills are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Familiarity with HotelKey or PEP systems, cashiering procedures, and basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Strong communication skills to engage confidently with guests and team members
- Experience supervising or leading small teams is a plus but not mandatory; leadership qualities are appreciated
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous but not required

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
