What We’re Looking For
Experience: 15+ years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience preferred.
Education: An Associate degree or equivalent certification in a related field is preferred, but not required.
Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge and proficiency with standard hand and power tools.
Core Responsibilities
Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, and climate control, ensuring all work meets exact specifications.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and multi-point inspections efficiently to maximize fleet uptime and safety.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all trucks, trailers, and shop equipment continuously meet DOT and all other regulatory safety standards.
Inventory & Tracking: Monitor parts inventory, track component utilization, and accurately document all completed maintenance and repair orders.
Professional Growth: Stay current with the latest industry advancements by continuously learning new technical information, tools, and diagnostic techniques.
