Join our team as a Water Resiliency Representative!
Santa Margarita Water District is seeking a customer-focused and technically minded Water Resiliency Representative to support the District’s water conservation, water efficiency, leak detection, and customer outreach initiatives. This unique role combines fieldwork, customer service, meter expertise, irrigation expertise and water resource management to help customers better understand and manage their water use while supporting the District’s commitment to long-term water sustainability.

About the Role
Under general supervision, the Water Resiliency Representative performs a variety of customer service, field investigation, meter, and conservation-related duties in support of the District’s Water Resiliency Division. This position serves as an important liaison between the District and its customers, helping resolve high-bill concerns, identify leaks, support conservation public education and outreach programs, and ensure accurate water consumption data and meter performance.
The role works closely with Water Efficiency, Cross-Connection, GIS, Customer Relations, and Operations staff and requires a combination of technical knowledge, field experience, analytical skills, and outstanding customer service.
