The Daily Gazette is a locally owned news organization serving communities throughout the Capital Region. We are looking for a dependable Newspaper Delivery Driver to help make sure our subscribers receive their newspapers accurately and on time.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, driving, and following an established route.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver newspapers to homes and designated delivery locations along an assigned route
- Follow established route directions and delivery schedules
- Load and organize newspapers before beginning your route
- Make accurate deliveries while following subscriber delivery instructions
- Report delivery issues or route concerns to the circulation team
- Keep track of route changes and delivery information
- Maintain reliable transportation and safely operate your vehicle while completing deliveries
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Strong time-management skills
- Comfortable driving and navigating an established delivery route
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred, but not required
