Schedule: Part-Time | 15 to 20 hours/week
Radnor’s is looking for a Bar Lead + Event Host, a role built for someone who can own the bar
experience and help bring events to life at Edison Square. This position serves as Jo Holland’s
collaborator in event hosting, stepping in to support event execution, guest engagement, and
on-the-floor energy so Jo can manage the bigger picture. At the same time, this person takes
genuine ownership of bar optimization, driving consistency, quality, and managing inventory.
This is a part-time role (15 to 20 hrs/week) with real influence. If you are someone who thrives

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Bar Lead — Operations & Optimization
● Serve as the primary bar lead during assigned shifts: own quality, consistency, and speed
● Drive ongoing bar optimization including menu refinement, efficiency, pour standards,
and waste reduction
● Maintain bar prep systems, batch recipes, and station standards
● Ensure bar inventory is organized, properly stocked, and properly tracked
● Support bartending team members to Radnor’s standards
● Monitor bar performance over time & bring ideas to improve beverage sales/execution
Event Host
● Serve as a tip-eligible Event Host during events at Edison Square, actively supporting Jo
in executing high-quality event experiences
● Engage guests throughout events: welcome, connect, and keep the energy moving
● Support service flow on the floor and at the bar during events
● Step into the Event Host lead role when Jo is managing logistics or is unavailable
● Help with event setup, breakdown, and coordination to ensure smooth execution
● Contribute to service, sales, and the overall guest experience during each event
Guest Experience
● Touch tables, check in on guests, and contribute to a warm, high-energy room
● Communicate with the kitchen and FOH team to ensure smooth, connected service
● Handle guest issues with confidence and good judgment

REQUIREMENTS - Candidates should have:
● Bartending experience with strong cocktail knowledge
● Experience in event hosting, hospitality leadership, or guest-facing roles
● Comfort leading both behind the bar and on the floor
● Strong communication, reliability, and team-first mentality
● A natural ability to engage people and bring energy to a room
● Must have (or be able to obtain): Washington MAST Permit & a Food Handler’s Card
● Physical requirements: Ability to lift 30–50 lbs & ability to stand for extended periods
HOURS & SCHEDULE | Part-time | 15 to 20 hours/week.
This role is primarily focused on events and peak service periods, with some regular bar shifts
as needed. Availability for evenings and weekends is required. Radnor’s operating hours:
● Sunday through Thursday: closes at 9:00 PM
● Friday through Saturday: closes at 12:00 AM
COMPENSATION: $20/hr to $23/hr (depending on experience) + Tip Pool Participation
