PURPOSE
The Job Coach assists clients in learning new skills and enhancing existing skills, while performing an actual job.

COVID Regulations

In accordance to State Licensing requirements, all program staff must provide proof of vaccination or provide a religious or medical exemption

Exempt employees are required to be tested routinely

Additional testing for all employees may be required but is subject to change depending upon circumstances
ACTIVITIES

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, occasional weekends for special projects
-
Regular attendance and punctuality are expected of all employees.
- Travel: as needed between job sites
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Follow scope of work for each assigned contract, site and/or building

Complete daily QA form for each building you service

Communicate with Supervisor as issues arise

Interact with disabled adults in a positive and effective manner

Redirect clients when necessary

Conduct appropriate relationships with clients
-
Exercise good judgment
-
Support clients in reaching goals
-
Maintain and complete accurate daily documentation and reports
-
Provide direct instruction through physical and verbal communication
-
Instruct and demonstrate clients to follow company safety rules and procedures
-
Providing hands on training with client
-
Communicate all client issues in both verbal and written form immediately to Case Manager
-
Perform Emergency Drill report (3) three times a month
-
Implement PPE safety gear, including glove change as needed
-
Secure buildings after servicing
-
Ensure building keys are returned to the proper location at the end of your shift
-
Complete monthly job site QA report
-
Complete pre-trip and post-trip documentation when driving a company vehicle
-
Keep company vehicles clean and organized
-
Keep the supply room/maintenance closet clean and organized
-
Assist clients in time clock management, approvals and all other needs through the payroll system
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND GENERAL ABILITIES) -
- High School Diploma or GED

Leadership skills

Clean current DMV printout for VDDP certification
- Current CA Drivers license

PREEMPLOYMENT CONDITIONAL OFFER REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to pass State and FBI Fingerprint clearance
- Must be able to pass Drug Screen, including alcohol and marijuana
- Must be verified cleared through the Office of the Inspector General (OIG)
