Position Summary
PartyCraft LLC is seeking dependable, hardworking team members to assist with the delivery, setup, takedown, and return of event rental equipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors, and being part of creating memorable events for customers.
Crewmembers play a vital role in ensuring customers receive clean, safe, and properly installed rental equipment while representing PartyCraft LLC with professionalism and excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Load and unload event rental equipment onto trailers and trucks
- Deliver rental equipment safely to customer locations
- Set up and install tents, tables, chairs, and other rental equipment according to company standards
- Secure tents using stakes, weights, and proper anchoring methods
- Perform event takedowns and return equipment to storage
- Inspect equipment before and after each rental for damage or missing items
- Clean and organize equipment after returns
- Follow delivery schedules and maintain timeliness
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management
- Follow all safety procedures while lifting, transporting, and installing equipment
- Work as part of a team to complete setups efficiently
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old for crewmember positions
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Michigan Drivers License and good driving record to operate company vehicles or tow trailers
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from the home office/warehouse
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
- Excellent attendance is mandatory
- Ability to work evenings and weekends (especially during peak event season)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in event rentals, moving, construction, landscaping, or general labor preferred
- Drivers MUST have experience towing trailers is a plus
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment is required
This position requires:
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
- Standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
- Working on grass, gravel, uneven terrain, and in outdoor weather conditions
Schedule
- Primarily evenings and weekends
- Typical setup times: Monday–Friday beginning around 5:30 PM and Saturday beginning around 8am.
- Weekend work based on event schedule
- Hours vary depending on customer demand
